Kitchens are the heart of the home and have been for centuries. The change with kitchens is the function & design. We have taken the kitchen from a stand alone to an open concept with the dinning area and family room being part and of the kitchen.
As a designer, I design kitchen cabinets to look like furniture & the hardware to have a statement like jewelry. We also intergrade the lighting to balance the room and the flooring to give a natural look. The reason for this is when we start to add the island stools, appliance, and the furniture we what everything to be seamless and balanced.
With a new kitchen and surrounding area cooking and entertaining with family and friends become’s much more enjoyable. You could even say that the food taste that much better.
